Twenty-Third Starlight Gala Results

We couldn't be more pleased to announce that our Twenty-Third Starlight Gala -  Coast to Coast: A Canadian Evening - raised $285,000, enabling us to purchase a new Bone Mineral Density scanner for our hospital!  Our generous community has once again exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't be more grateful for all the support.  Thank you!!

The profit from each Gala is directed to the highest priority needs of the hospital.  Our Gala fundraising efforts will be focused on ensuring that our medical professionals receive vitally needed equipment.  Without the fundraising efforts of the Foundation and the support of our communities, we would be unable to ensure that our hospital has the best equipment possible to care for our patients.  Our Foundation is committed to supporting our hospital in its quest for excellence in rural health care and providing "Quality Care Close To Home".

Annual Take Out Dinner 2026 

Stay tuned...our 2026 Take Out Dinner will be on October 2nd & 3rd out of the PMD Arena in Drayton.  We will update this space with more information closer to the date.  We are looking forward to what The Winston House Catering Company has planned for the menu this year!

CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon 2026

Held on the third Saturday in October, the Health Care Heroes Radiothon raises funds for local area hospitals. During Radiothon, tune in to the broadcast all day on AM920 and cknx.ca, or catch updates on the hour on 101.7 The One and Cool 94.5.  Listeners will hear heartwarming patient stories and descriptions of equipment needed at each participating hospital.  

This year the goal is to raise $150,000 for renovations and upgrades to PDH's lab including a new Blood Gas Analyzer.  It's through your support that we can fund these necessities.  You can donate a number of ways; call in a pledge during Radiothon to CKNX at 1-877-227-3486 on October 17th, drop off your pledge at your local bank or our hospital's admitting desk, or by clicking here to donate through our website.  We will continue to collect donations for Radiothon until year end.
