Tickets for the Twenty-First Starlight Gala - A Night at the Grammys 

Our Annual Starlight Gala is on May 25th at the Harriston-Minto Community Complex.  Doors open a 5pm with a Winston House dinner at 6:30pm.

This evening is the highlight of the Foundation year, and with good reason.  Our Gala is an evening of terrific food, entertainment, and Live and Silent Auctions.  There are very few opportunities to dress up in life anymore, and although this is a dressy event, the warm and welcoming feeling of the evening is amazing. 

Individual tickets for Gala are priced at $150 each.  Emails MUST be directed to [email protected] to reserve tickets. 

Thank you for your support of this important event!  This year the funds raised will be used to purchase the new Ultrasound Machine needed in Diagnostic Imaging.  Our guests realize that even though we are right in the middle of the largest Capital Campaign we have ever run, the need to raise money for new and replacement equipment continues at the PDH.

We are looking forward to an exciting evening with all our guests, as we celebrate the Twenty-First Starlight Gala in support of our local hospital.

Eagles Tribute Show & Roast Beef Dinner

The MRI Events Sub-Committee will be holding an upcoming dinner and show event on Saturday June 22nd, 2024, to support the MRI+ Campaign.  The event includes a beef bbq dinner and show performed by the Eagles Tribute Band, “New Kid in Town”, and will take place at the PMD arena in Drayton.

Tickets are $75 each.  The dinner starts at 6pm with the show starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are available at the following three locations: Leslie Motors in Harriston, Al La Mode in Drayton and the Home Hardware in Palmerston, from any MRI+ Committee or Board Member, or by emailing [email protected].

DROM Event

The MRI Events Sub-Committee will be hosting DROM - Beyond Drumming on Friday, June 7th from 6:00pm - 9:00pm at Norwell District Secondary School's track.  $25 per person for those who would like to participate in DROM, other visitors are welcome by donation.  

DJ Cody will be on from 6:00pm - 7:00pm, DROM is from 7:00pm - 8:00pm with Flavia & Scott from the 12 Line closing out the evening.  Food trucks will be at the event.

CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon 2023

Held on the third Saturday in October, the Health Care Heroes Radiothon raises funds for local area hospitals. 

During Radiothon, tune in to the broadcast all day on AM920 and cknx.ca, or catch updates on the hour on 101.7 The One and Cool 94.5.  Listeners will hear heartwarming patient stories and descriptions of equipment needed at each participating hospital.  

For 2023, the goal was to raise $175,000 towards our $8 million goal for our MRI Campaign, and we met our goal!  Thank you to everyone who donated to Radiothon 2023! Last year we raised over $167,000 which enabled us to purchase two colonoscopes and one gastroscope for Surgical Services.  We cannot thank our community enough for the generosity shown to this campaign and our hospital.  It's through your support that we can purchase this needed equipment.
